My two favorite words

As the title of the blog states, my two favorite words my niece says are "nummy, nummy!" Of course, at 14 months, I don't have many to choose from: hey, hi, dog, duck, done, toys, and a few occasional one-timers like frog, outside, etc.

"Nummy, nummy" means two things to us: it can either mean that 1) something that she is eating is really nummy, nummy, or 2) she is play feeding us, the dog, or some inanimate object like a Little People sheep or her Stout Sprout bunny. This is how it works: she holds out a piece of something or an empty spoon and tells you "nummy, nummy" so you'll take a bite. She grins proudly when you respond with an enthusiastic "nummy, nummy" right back. Repeat until everyone in the room has said "nummy, nummy" at least once... at least.

I wanted to start a blog about being an auntie, watching my sweet little doodle bug grow so big, so fast, and how it changes life for all of us. It's pretty amazing that one tee tiny pa-tot could grow the size of our hearts exponentially.
